Healdsburg Avenue/Front Street Ramble

One of 18 palm trees on Healdsburg Avenue, planted post WWI to honor the fallen from Healdsburg. A SoCA look in NoSoCO.
I took a walk from Healdsburg Veterans’ Memorial Beach, past River’s Edge Kayak & Canoe and across the newly listed in the National Registry of Historic Places, Healdsburg Memorial Bridge.
Immediately west of the Bridge, I turned right (north) on Front Street.
Easy to visit the Hudson Street Wineries including Bluenose Wines as well as “The Front Street Group”: Holdredge Winery, Hart’s Desire Wines, J. Keverson Winery & Sapphire Hill Winery. Across the street, on the River, is Davis Family Vineyards. (When purchasing wine and traveling on foot or bike, ask these wineries about their Wine Delivery Service to your local lodging!) Looking for a little exercise and expertise with Wine Country Biking? Look no further than Wine Country Bikes.
Now heading back towards Healdsburg Avenue, past the romantic UP train trestle-
Heading due west on Healdsburg Avenue, under the memorial palms, past SOAR, Russian River Adventures- old-fashioned California River Town-feel….
Wine Road members in view are the L & M Motel and Americas Best Value Inn & Suites.
Now just a hop, skip and a jump to the north up to the historic Healdsburg Plaza.
Here’s looking at you, kids.
